Hey dolls, so this is my very honest review of the Micheal Todd Sonicsmooth Dermaplaning System.
The Micheal Todd Sonicsmooth Dermaplaning System is supposed to be an at home version of a popular spa facial service, Dermaplaning. Dermaplaning removes all the facial hair and exfoliates off dead skin. This service ranges from $100-$300 per treatment. I’ve personally never had this service done myself, so I’ll just be comparing it to a facial razor.
I have been shaving my face for a couple years now, so I decided to compare this dermaplaning system to my plain old facial razor to see which was more effective.
I absolutely love shaving my face because it makes my makeup apply and look smooth and airbrushed. I used to wax my upper lip and I would break out from the wax so I was thrilled when I discovered facial shaving. Watch my youtube video to see exactly how I shave my face.
I purchase my facial razors in bulk from Ebay and they usually cost me about $1-$2 each.
The Micheal Todd Sonicsmooth Dermaplaning System retails for $99. It comes with a charger and replacement blades.
So I did half my face with my regular razor and the other half with the Sonicsmooth System.
Honestly I preferred the regular facial razor, I felt I had more control and was able to remove more hair and even skin than the Sonicsmooth did.
